The Bedrin Organization was originally founded in 1947 by Murray Bedrin, as Allied Office Products, a small office supply company based in Jersey City. In 1969 and 1972, Paul and Gerald Bedrin joined their father, Murray Bedrin. Over the next 28 years, Paul and Gerald grew the company into one of the largest privately-owned office supply business in the region with five (5) retail stores and over 230 employees.
Paul and Jerry Bedrin purchased real estate to support and complement their office products business. After more than three decades of successful business experience, in 1998, the office products business was sold so that The Bedrin Organization could focus entirely on their interest in the shopping center industry.
Recently, the family business has grown to include both Jerry's son Garret and Paul’s son Michael as Partners. Garret oversees Acquisitions, Leasing, and Investor Relations with Michael managing the firm’s Construction and Development pipeline. With over 70 years in business, The Bedrin Organization is still family run and manages nearly 2.0 million square feet of shopping centers. The Bedrin Organization focuses on value-added opportunities in NJ and the Southeast where hands-on management, leasing, and capital improvements can increase both the Tenant and Customer experience. A strong tenant mix and a strong sense of space for consumers will drive tenant sales across the board, and ultimately add long-term value to the asset.
