The Bedrin Organization continues to invest in the Piedmont Triad, with the purchase of Hunt Village at Sedgefield, 5000 High Point Road, from the Wrennovation Companies, a commercial real estate investment and management firm in Jamestown.
This purchase is the ninth property that the Glen Rock, New Jersey-based family owned firm now owns in the Triad, NC area.
The sale of the 31,268-square-foot center closed Thursday, Aug. 30. The Bedrin Organization paid $2.89 million for the property, which is fully occupied with 11 businesses except for a single vacant 1,040-square foot unit.
As in the June 2018 purchase of Gate City Shopping Center at 3018 W. Gate City Blvd., the purchase of Hunt Village at Sedgefield is in a strategic location, just off a recently constructed interstate interchange. The two Bedrin properties are separated by about three miles and nine minutes driving time.
“We believe in the Piedmont Triad and in the growth of this area within Greensboro,” said Garret Bedrin, . “We see it as an excellent opportunity for investment. The key word in real estate is ‘location,’ and this location has the potential for businesses to serve customers from Greensboro, High Point and Jamestown, as well as the established neighborhood of Sedgefield. The addition of Greensboro’s first Publix, renovations to the Harris-Teeter center and the new development at Adams Farm tells us this center’s best days are still ahead of it.”
The Bedrin Organization is adding a new sign that will face the exit and give visibility to the tenants, along with a new roof over the Box Seat Sports Restaurant that will enable it to use its outdoor patio more often. Future plans for the property include a possible drive-through location for a business like a Starbucks or Smoothie King.
In addition to Box Seat Sports Restaurant, tenants now located at Hunt Village at Sedgefield are All Pets Considered, the Republican Party, Sweet Talk Bakery, Jerusalem Market, Sedgefield Florist and Gifts, Cat Care Hospital, Nouveau Salon, H&R Block, Peruvian Chicken and To The Pointe Ballet.
