New Jersey-based Bedrin Organization continues to invest in the Triad with the purchase of Hunt Village Shopping Center at 5000 High Point Road.
Bedrin purchased the 31,268-square-foot shopping center from Wrennovation Companies of Jamestown for $2.89 million.
“This location has the potential for businesses to serve customers from Greensboro, High Point and Jamestown, as well as the established neighborhood of Sedgefield,” Garret Bedrin of Bedrin said in a release. “The addition of Greensboro’s first Publix, renovations to the Harris-Teeter center and the new development at Adams Farm tells us this center’s best days are still ahead of it.”
The shopping center is home to 11 businesses including Jerusalem Market, Simauchi Peruvian Restaurant, The Pointe Ballet and Sedgefield Florist and Gifts.
Bedrin will construct a new roof over the shopping center’s Box Seat Sports Restaurant. The new roof will benefit the pub’s outdoor patio.
The shopping center could get a Starbucks or Smoothie King with Bedrin’s tentative plans to build a drive-through.
The purchase of the shopping center brings to nine the number of properties Bedrin has in the Triad including the recently purchased Gate City Shopping Center at 3018 W. Gate City Blvd. and Golden Gate Shopping Center at Cornwallis and Golden Gate drives.
